Record Store
REDRUM, Red Rum, ReDRUM, MurdeR… read it anyway you like.
The store itself offers mostly vinyl records with broadly defined electronic music, but not only. As I say: „from chillout to hardcore”. There will also be releases in the genre of Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggae, Dub, etc . We focus on a sophisticated selection, but also on top artists and publishing houses. Apart from music, you can find posters, clothing or record bags designed by befriended local artists.
The beggining of the store goes back to the times when there was no real concept for the shop. Yet, the dreams of opening a record storeora a mucic club were somewhere in my mind. Those days I liked to turn my decks on, lighten up some red or orange light in the room and play some progressive house or trance music. And it was somewhere then, when the name REDRUM came across my mind. I was not sure if it will become a kind of project or music set, so first I gave the name to the progressive music section of my records. Now record store.
